Like that phrase? It's corporate-speak for "here's more work to do."
I made a group some time ago called TheShelfLife. It's dedicated to promoting the published work of dA writers. It's currently a Super Group until December. I like the group, and I support the mission. The problem? I'm doing exactly jack and shit with it.
That's not going to change, due to a variety of things that are (and hopefully will be) taking up my free time. Don't want to say too much yet in case things don't go the right way, but at the moment I'm looking to offload some smaller responsibilities.
So here's the rub: Would anyone like to adopt TheShelfLife? If you're interested, shoot me a note with a quick blurb about why you want the job and what you might do with the group. After a bit, I'll review any applicants and go from there.
Rest assured that I'm not trying to treat the group like a hand grenade that I just throw at you and run away. I'm glad to help out however you need, donate points, etc. I'm just at the point where I'd like to see someone take over the group who is able to give it the attention it deserves, or I'd like to just terminate the group entirely. I don't like "zombie groups" that get formed and abandoned, and the Shelf has become one of those.
If I don't get any takers inside the next two weeks, I'll just burn it down, plow it under, and never speak of it again in polite society.
