I haven't featured anyone for a while, so I wanted to give some love to two dA writers who I think deserve more attention here than they seem to be getting.
Black Flag by

is a prime example of a gallery filled with unapologetic, hard sci-fi; emphasis on
hard. The characters in his stories fight uphill battles to retain their humanity against the vacuum of space, the brutality of conflict, or the simple inhumanity of others.
Demon Rift: Chapter 1 by

is one of the strongest beginnings to a multi-part fantasy story I've come across on dA. Not only does she introduce a vivid setting and interesting magic, but she gracefully handles the task of presenting internal dialogues between a character and her two "inner voices." Not an easy thing to do. Now, if only there were more episodes.
